Real People, Real Experience

We started cromexuscru because too many smart people were making investment decisions based on headlines and hot tips. After working in different corners of finance, we realized there was a gap between academic theory and practical know-how.

Building Confidence Through Knowledge

These numbers represent real people who chose to understand their financial decisions rather than leave them to chance. What started as weekend workshops in 2019 has grown into comprehensive programs that help working professionals navigate investment basics without the overwhelming jargon. We focus on practical skills because understanding compound interest matters more than memorizing formulas.

How We Got Here

2019
Started with a simple question: why do people avoid learning about investing? Kieran was fielding the same questions from friends and family about 401k allocations and emergency funds. Instead of answering individually, we organized the first workshop.
2021
Sage joined after seeing people make panic decisions during market volatility. Her background in education helped us structure content that actually sticks. We learned that explaining P/E ratios with pizza analogies works better than textbook definitions.
2023
Moved online when we realized geography shouldn't limit financial education. Our Pennsylvania workshops were full, but we were getting requests from people across the country. Remote learning opened doors we hadn't considered.
2025
Today we're focused on building skills that last. The financial world keeps changing, but understanding fundamentals like risk assessment and portfolio diversification remains valuable. We're planning expanded programs for fall 2025.

Education Program Director
Former high school economics teacher who discovered that adults learn differently than teenagers. Designs our curriculum to focus on practical application rather than theory. Believes the best financial education happens when people can immediately use what they've learned in their own situations.

What We Believe

  • Financial education should be accessible without requiring a finance degree. We explain concepts in plain language and focus on what you actually need to know.
  • Practice matters more than theory. Our programs include real examples and hands-on exercises so you can apply what you learn immediately.
  • Everyone's financial situation is different. We teach principles and frameworks, then help you adapt them to your specific goals and circumstances.
  • Good decisions come from understanding, not following tips. We focus on building your analytical skills rather than giving you a list of recommendations.
